Joan Moriarty

Not to be confused with Joan Denise Moriarty.

Brigadier Joan Olivia Elsie Moriarty (born 11 May 1923) was a nursing sister who became Matron-in-Chief/Director of the Queen Alexandra's Royal Army Nursing Corps from 1977 to 1981.[1][2]
