Joanne McNeil

Joanne McNeil is an American writer,[1][2] editor, and art critic known for her personal essays on technology. She is reportedly writing a book on internet culture.[3][4]

McNeil was the editor of Rhizome at the New Museum, from 2011-2012. She edited The Best of Rhizome 2012, published through LINK Editions/LINK Center for the Arts.[5][6] She has contributed to Frieze, Los Angeles Times, Wired, and the Boston Globe. She formerly edited the blog The Tomorrow Museum. McNeil was part of the panel The New Aesthetic at SXSW 2012 and the follow up "Stories from the New Aesthetic" at the New Museum.[7] McNeil was an Eyebeam resident.[8][9]
