Jobner is a city and a municipality in Jaipur district in the Indian state of Rajasthan.
Geography
Jobner is located at 26°58′N 75°23′E / 26.97°N 75.38°E.[1] It has an average elevation of 400 metres (1312 feet).
Jobner is about 35 km west of Jaipur.
Demographics
At the 2001 India census,[2] Jobner had a population of 55,496. Males constituted 52% of the population and females 48%. Jobner had an average literacy rate of 64%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy was 75%, female literacy 51%. In Jobner, 16% of the population were under 6 years of age.

University
- Sri Karan Narendra Agriculture University, Jobner: Sri Karan Narendra Agriculture University, Jobner- Jaipur was established in 2013 by Govt of Rajasthan under Agriculture University, Jobner Act, 2013 (Bill No 39) with a view to impart teaching at the University or college level, conduct research and extension education programmes in the field of agriculture. The territorial jurisdiction and responsibility of this University extend to the districts of Jaipur, Sikar, Alwar, Dausa, Tonk, Ajmer, Bhartpur and Dholpur.
The university covers three agro-climatic zones:
II A: Transitional plain of inland drainage - Sikar
III A: Semi-arid eastern plain zone- Jaipur, Ajmer, Tonk, Dausa
III B: Flood prone eastern plains- Alwar, Bharatpur, Dholpur

- S.K.N. Agriculture College: Sri Karan Narendra College of Agriculture was established by Rawal Narendra Singh, the first State Education Minister of Rajasthan and Thakur of Jobner, in 1947; its alumni include civil service officers and agricultural scientists.
- Jobner P.G. College: Jobner P.G. college is affiliated with University of Rajasthan.College is also a recognized study center for Vardhaman Mahaveer Open University, Kota.
