Jock Haswell

Major C.J.D Jock Haswell (born 1919) is a British military and intelligence author and former British intelligence officer.[1] He was "Author for Service Intelligence".

Early life

Haswell was born in Penn, Buckinghamshire.

Military career

Haswell was trained at Sandhurst c. 1938/9 - 1941.[2] He joined the Queen's Royal Regiment[2] on 3 April 1941.[3] Later in 1941 he was stationed in India, and saw local action.[4]

He was promoted Major on 3 July 1952.[5]

He retired from the army on 29 April 1960.[6]
