Joe Cole (born 28 November 1988)[1] is an English actor from Kingston, London. Cole is best known for his roles as Tommy Nix in Offender,[2] Luke in Skins (series 6), Chas in A Long Way Down, John Shelby in Peaky Blinders,[3] Scott in Now Is Good and as the main villain Pacman Marzin in the 2015 film Secret in Their Eyes.[4][5] Cole has also starred in several award-winning short films, such as Volume[6] and Assessment.[7]
Cole first decided he wanted to pursue acting through the National Youth Theatre (NYT).[8][9] He obtained his first roles on "The Bill" and "Holby City", and then roles on stage at the Bush Theatre's sell-out School Season. Cole also has begun writing, and has written three episodes of a comedy drama set in the Isle of Man. He also has worked with writing partner Matt Lucas. Cole lives in Kensington, London.
