Joseph G. "Dynamite Joe" Gembis (September 29, 1907 July 5, 1969) was an American football player and coach.

He played college football at the University of Michigan from 1926 to 1929 as a fullback and placekicker. He played semi-professional football in 1930 for the Ironton Tanks. He later served as the head coach at Wayne State University from 1932 to 1945, compiling a career college football record of 42518 (.455).
