Joe Kadenge is a Kenyan retired football player and coach. Farayi Mungazi, writing for the BBC, has said that he is "regarded as the finest footballer ever produced by Kenya."[1]

Career

Playing career

Kadenge played for Maragoli United, and scored the fastest ever goal in the Kenyan Premier League.[2] He also played club football for Abaluhya United, winning the Kenyan Premier League in 1966.[2]

In addition, Kadenge was part of the Kenya national football team.

Coaching career

Kadenge managed the Kenya national football team in 2002.[3]

Personal life

Kadenge suffered a stroke in January 2006.[4]
