Joel Dudley
Joel Dudley is faculty researcher in biomedical informatics, author and biotechnology entrepreneur. Originally from Sheboygan, Wisconsin, he completed in PhD in Biomedical Informatics at Stanford University's School of Medicine under the supervision of Atul Butte and is now Director of Biomedical Informatics and Assistant Professor of Genetics and Genomic Sciences, Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai,[1][2] where he works closely with Eric Schadt. He has authored or co-authored over 50 scientific papers [3] with over 27,000 total citations, and co-authored the first textbook on personalized genomics.[4] Joel is also an inventor, with patents on the clinical interpretation of an individual's genome[5] and numerous other patents applications.[6]
