Johannes Skar
Not to be confused with Johannes Skaar.
Johannes Skar (18 November 1837, Øyer, Gudbrandsdal – 3 February 1914) was a Norwegian folklorist, a brother of educator Matias Skard. His main contribution is the work Gamalt or Sætesdal (1903-1916), a collection of eight volumes of folklore from the valley Setesdal.[1][2]
