John Stanley Carroll (born December 18, 1929) is an American politician from the state of Hawaii. He served in the Hawaii House of Representatives from 1970 to 1978 and in the Hawaii State Senate from 1978 to 1980. He is a lawyer, having been educated at Saint Mary's University and the University of Hawaii.[1][2] He served in the United States Air Force and United States Army during the Korean War.[3]
Carroll also ran unsuccessfully for Governor of Hawaii in 2002 and 2010, for the United States House of Representatives in 2002, and for the United States Senate in 2000 and 2012.
