John Clark (basketball)

John J. Clark is a member of the Northeastern University athletics Hall of Fame. Clark was inducted in 1987 for his play in basketball. Clark was also drafted by the Boston Celtics.

When Clark graduated from Northeastern he did so as the Huskies all-time leading scorer with 1,617 points. Clark was selected as an All- New England selection and District One All-American team. Clark was the third player in New England basketball history to average more than 20 points per game in a season.

Clark was selected by the Boston Celtics in the sixth round of the 1976 NBA Draft.

His coach Jim Calhoun referred to Clark as "the complete student/athlete."
