John D. McDonald (Wisconsin)

John D. McDonald (August 2, 1816 October 31, 1900) was an American farmer and politician.

Born in Johnstown, New York, McDonald moved to Summit, Waukesha County, Wisconsin Territory and settled on a farm. He served as chairman of the Summit Town Board. In 1870 and 1871, McDonald served in the Wisconsin State Assembly and was a Democrat. He died in Summit, Wisconsin.[1][2]
