John Howard (died 1437)

Sir John Howard (c.1366-1437), of Wiggenhall and East Winch, Norfolk, Stoke-by-Nayland, Suffolk, Stansted Mountfitchet, Essex, and Fowlmere, Cambridgeshire, was an English politician. Sir John served two terms as High Sheriff of Essex and Hertfordshire; the first in 1400 and again in 1414.

He was a Member (MP) of the Parliament of England for Essex September 1397, for Cambridgeshire in 1407 and Suffolk in 1422.[1]
