John Strachan (bishop of Rangoon)
The Rt Rev John Miller Strachan,[1] DD [2] was the second[3] Bishop of Rangoon.[4]
He was born in Barnsley in 1832 and educated at King's College London.[5] He was ordained in 1861 and was a SPG in India until his episcopal appointment. He was consecrated on 1 May 1882.[6] and served[7] until 1902 when he resigned his see.[8] He died in 1906.[9]
