John Parris (born 1952), of Forest Hill, London, England, is one of the most renowned manufacturers of handmade snooker cues in the world.[1]
A large number of professional players use John Parris' cues, including Ronnie O'Sullivan,[2] Steve Davis,[3] Tony Drago,[4] Terry Griffiths,[5] Dominic Dale,[6] and Stephen Maguire.[7]
His distinctive cue designs are regularly copied by other cue makers, often including counterfeited name badges.
Currently, Parris manufactures 19 different generic models, priced around £300—700. On occasion, John Parris has also made special order pool cues, for example for Tony Drago.
