John Pearce was an English middleweight boxer from the Wellington ABC. ABA Champion in 1998^[1] he went on to win Gold^[2] at the Commonwealth Games of 1998 in Kuala Lumpur. He defeated Jitender Kumar (India) in the final.^[3]

Coming from Middlesbrough he was at the time MD of his own double glazing company.^[4]
