John Poch (born 1966 in Erie, Pennsylvania) is an American poet, fiction writer, and critic.

Biography

John Poch holds an M.F.A. in Poetry from the University of Florida and a Ph.D. in English from the University of North Texas. He was the inaugural Colgate University Creative Writing Fellow, and now teaches as Professor of English in the creative writing program at Texas Tech University.[1] He serves as series editor for the Vassar Miller Poetry Prize at the University of North Texas Press, and for ten years edited 32 Poems with poet Deborah Ager.[2]
