John Ross/Performance Center 5" .500 S&W Magnum is a 5-shot double-action revolver chambered for the .500 S&W Magnum cartridge, designed by John Ross and manufactured by Smith & Wesson Performance Center.[1]
The revolver has a 5-inch barrel with no muzzle brake or ports, but the barrel is tensioned with a muzzle nut which allows a tight barrel-cylinder gap of 0.0035 in (0.0889 mm) for a greater velocity.
