John S. Connor, Inc

John S. Connor, Inc. was founded in Baltimore in 1917 as a Customs broker/Freight forwarder. Since then the company has grown to be the largest of its kind within the port of Baltimore. They are currently a licensed, tariffed, and bonded NVOCC, as well as a TSA Certified Cargo Screening Facility. The company is registered with the DDTC and operates as a DoD Certified Air and Ocean Freight carrier and is an approved Independent Air Carrier (IAC).

In 2008, with the assistance of the Maryland Center China, opened their first office in Shanghai, China. In late 2010 they once again expanded to include offices in the Port of Newark, joining Baltimore, Louisville, Norfolk and Dulles as its main hubs.[1]

Today the company has approximately 90 employees and continues as a privately owned and operated organization with the same basic philosophies on which it was founded.
