John Ronald Angus Stroyan^[6] (born 1955, Scotland) has been the Anglican Bishop of Warwick^[7] since 2005.^[8]

Education and career

He was educated at Harrow School, the University of St Andrews^[9] and Queen's College, Edgbaston^[10] before embarking on a curacy at St Peter’s Hillfields.^[11] From 1987 until 1994 he was Vicar at St Chad, Smethwick,^[12] then Bloxham for a further 9 years before promotion to Area Dean of Deddington in 2002. His pastoral dedication lead to elevation to the Episcopate^[13] when Anthony Priddis was promoted to Hereford. He was installed at Coventry Cathedral on 1 May 2005.^[14]
