John Theryll Knox (born September 30, 1924) served in the California legislature and as Speaker Pro Tempore. During World War II he served in the United States Army.[1] He was born in Reno, Nevada.[2]
A portion of Interstate 580 is called the John T. Knox Freeway.[3]
