John Patrick Tobin, known as Johnny or Jackie (January 8, 1921 January 18, 1982), was a professional baseball player. He played one season in Major League Baseball for the 1945 Boston Red Sox, primarily as a third baseman.

Tobin also had a long minor league baseball career, playing in the minors from 1942 until 1957. He played in the Pacific Coast League from 1948–57, mostly as an outfielder.

Johnny's brother Jim Tobin was a major league pitcher from 1937-45. He is interred at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Hayward.[1]
