Jollywood (Hindi "जॉलीवुड") refers to the film industry of (Jharkhand) state, India or cinema in Nagpuri dialect[1][2][3][4]
History
The first Jharkhandi(Nagpuri dialect) feature film was Sona Kar Nagpur (1994) which produced and directed by Dhananjay Nath Tiwari[5][6][7]

During 1995 Ranchi's residents famous drama actor & cutural artist Mr.Sushil Ankan has came a thought his mind that Jharkhandi Cine Indsurty should be a name so he has given name its Jollywood (like as Chhollywood (Cinema of Chhattisgarh).The English's leading newspaper Hindustan Times ,Ranchi bureau's Mr. Satyendra Pathak firsty printed Jollywood word in an article Jollywood Max Debut at 23,April 2001.Afterthat Jollywood used by various news paper and its began popular in Jharkhand.[8][9]
