Jomon T. John is an Indian cinematographer best known for his work in Malayalam cinema.

Jomon made his debut with Chaappa Kurishu (2011). His well known films include Beautiful (2011), Thattathin Marayathu (2012), Ayalum Njanum Thammil (2012), Ennu Ninte Moideen (2015), and Charlie (2015).

Jomon won the 2015 Kerala State Film Award for Best Cinematography for the films Nee-Na, Ennu Ninte Moideen, and Charlie.

Career

Jomon completed his diploma in cinematography from Government Film and Television Institute, Bangalore. He was active in the advertisement industry. Sameer Thahir cast him as the cinematographer in Chaappa Kurish (2011). The film was well noted for its realistic looking camera angles and frames. Jomon's second film Beautiful (2011) was very well acclaimed as well.In 2012 he handled cinematography of the film "Thattathin Marayathu" directed by "Vineeth Sreenivasan".The film was well noted for its beautiful shots and cinematography. It was a great success in box office too.[1]

Personal life

Jomon married actress Ann Augustine on February 2, 2014 .
