Jon Allen (diplomat)

Jon Joseph Allen (born 10 December 1950)[1] is a current Canadian diplomat. He is Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Israel since June 14, 2006. He is Canada's third Jewish ambassador to Israel (the other two were Norman Spector and David Berger).[2]
Born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Allen received a degree in international law from the University of London.[2]
