Jonathan Kim
Jonathan H. Kim has produced five of the top 50 highest grossing Korean films of all time including Silmido (film), the first Korean film to surpass 10 million domestic ticket sales. He has received the Daejong Award for Best Picture and Best Executive Producer (the Korean Oscar equivalent).
His 16 produced films include the critically acclaimed LIES (56th Venice Film Festival), Ditto, To Catch a Virgin Ghost (the most profitable Korean film of 2004, also called To Catch A Virgin Ghost, a film that will be screened during the KOFFLA), and the recent release, Virgin Snow, a Korean-Japanese co-production between CJ Entertainment and Kadokawa Herald Pictures.
He recently completed his term as the chairman of the Korean Film Producers Association. He also served as a mentor for the first two years of the Korean Film Council Filmmaker Development Lab.
