Jonathan Thake
Jonathan Thake is a television writer best known for ‘the slag of all snacks’ campaign for Pot Noodle. His first comedy series, The Persuasionists, premiered on Wednesday 13 January 2010 on BBC2.
Biography
Thake and Lee Tan began working together as a creative team when they were paired by a headhunter in 1997 for a placement with Bartle Bogle Hegarty. The pair were hired by HHCL in 1998, which is the "slag of all snacks" campaign they directed launched in 2002.[1]
Thake wrote a pilot episode about a fictional advertising agency, "The Scum Also Rises", that was broadcast on BBC3 in 2007. It was picked up by BBC2[2] and the series, The Persuasionists, premiered on 13 January 2010.[3]
