Jordan Westerkamp (born c. 1994) is an American football wide receiver. He currently plays college football for the University of Nebraska Cornhuskers football. He has played since 2012, his redshirt freshman year.[1][2][3] He gained 747 receiving yards as a redshirt sophomore in 2014. In 2015, as a redshirt junior, he amassed 918 yards.[4] He was selected by both the coaches and media as a second-team player on the 2015 All-Big Ten Conference football team.[5][6]
The 6-0, 200-pound Westerkamp has great hands which has allowed him to make the difficult catches look routine throughout his career. He is also a great route runner with excellent mastery of the Nebraska offense. Westerkamp has also earned the respect of his coaches and teammates and was one of six Husker captains for the 2015 campaign. He has one more year left (2016) at Nebraska.
