Athletics
Jordanian athletes have so far achieved qualifying standards in the following athletics events (up to a maximum of 3 athletes in each event):[1][2]
- Men's marathon – 1 quota place (Hamad Marouf)
Boxing
Jordan has entered one boxer to compete in the men's super heavyweight division into the Olympic boxing tournament. Hussein Ishaish had claimed his Olympic spot with a box-off victory at the 2016 Asia & Oceania Qualification Tournament in Qian'an, China.[3]

Taekwondo
Jordan entered one athlete into the taekwondo competition at the Olympics. Ahmad Abu-Ghaush secured a spot in the men's lightweight category (68 kg) by virtue of his top two finish at the 2016 Asian Qualification Tournament in Manila, Philippines.[4]
