José António de Miranda da Silva Júnior, or simply Júnior (born April 27, 1985 in Rio de Janeiro), is a Brazilian football midfielder.
Career
Once regarded as one of the most promising young players of Flamengo, his behaviour off the pitch descredited him to look for more than a place in Flamengo's first team. His dislike for practice is well-known amongst his peers and the fact that he can't hold down a first team place are little endearing to the supporters.
He signed a contract with Náutico at the start of Campeonato Brasileiro Série A in May. However he was released in July 2009.
