Jose Antonio N. Carrion, also known as Bong Carrion, is the governor of the province of Marinduque, in the Philippines. He was born in Calapan; his grandfather Juan Morente Nieva had also been governor of Marinduque from 1907 to 1916.
Carrion, a former governor, ran unsuccessfully for re-election as governor in 1998 as a member of the Pwersa ng Masang Pilipino party, and again in 2001 and 2004. In 2007 his campaign as an independent was successful.[1]
