Josef-Hubert Adrian (25 September 1911 – Missing in action March 1945) was a highly decorated Oberfeldwebel in the Wehrmacht during World War II.[Note 2] He was also a recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross. The Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross was awarded to recognize extreme battlefield bravery or successful military leadership.

  1. Officially declared dead on 18 June 1960 by the Amtsgericht Eschweiler.[1]
  2. According to Thomas & Wegmann he held the rank of Oberfeldwebel of the Reserves.[2]
