Joseph Keckler

Joseph Keckler is an American singer, musician, and writer.[1] His work has included original baroque pop songs,[2] classical and experimental vocalization,[3] videos, and performed stories, dreamlike monologues, and essays.[4] The Village Voice named Keckler "Best Downtown Performance Artist in New York" in 2013.[5] And in 2014 The Huffington Post named him #2 of "14 Artists Who Are Changing the Future of Opera.[6]

Music

As a teenager Keckler set out to become a blues singer. He subsequently trained classically as an operatic bass-baritone and now works in multiple styles.[7]
