Joseph Michael Gyulay is a venture capitalist and philanthropist. He is the founder of ATMOSA HKC a Hong Kong based venture fund. He has provided seed stage and first round funding to entrepreneurs since 1986. Businesses engaged in development of products and services for security, information technologies and advanced hardware designed for use by government agencies, military and law enforcement.[1][2][3] He has also provided financial support to independent film creators, theatre and to authors of writing projects that promote human rights and democracy.[4][5]
Biography
Mr. Gyulay is a philanthropy advisor for UHNW Individuals, Charitable Trusts and Foundations. Since 1986, Joseph created foundations focused on education, health and human services along with projects that help create open democratic societies, foster freedom of the press and respect for human rights. Projects that encourage economic development for growth and job opportunities as a way to stabilize and reduce poverty. [6]
The Hesperina Group
Mr. Gyulay founded The Hesperia Group in 1986. The Hesperina Group is funding charitable organizations operating throughout Southeast Asia. The organization also provides research about charitable giving programs and provides management services to individuals, foundations and trusts. Select international charities are dedicated to providing healthcare and educational services to orphans and homeless youth.[7]
