Josh Moody

Josh Moody is Senior Pastor of College Church in Wheaton, Illinois.[1][2]

Education and career

Moody was born in Epsom, Surrey, England and reared in an Anglican family.[1][3] He lives in Wheaton, Illinois with his wife Rochelle and their children Josiah, Sophia and Elianna.[4]

He holds his undergraduate degree and PhD from Cambridge University[3] where he was president of the Cambridge Inter-Collegiate Christian Union.[4]

Moody served as a missionary in the Republic of Georgia and in Azerbaijan.[4] He was a pastor at Romford Evangelical Church in London and at Eden Baptist Church.[4]

Until 2008 he was senior pastor of Trinity Baptist Church in New Haven, Connecticut.[5] He is an associate fellow of Jonathan Edwards College, Yale University, and the author of The God-Centered Life: Insights from Jonathan Edwards for Today.[6]
