Joshua John (born 1 October 1988 in Alkmaar[1]) is a Dutch footballer who plays as a forward for FC Nordsjælland.
Club career
Joshua John came through the youth departments of SV Koedijk, Ajax, RKC Waalwijk and Sparta Rotterdam.[2] He made his professional debut 2007–08 season in the league match against FC Groningen in September 2007, coming on as a substitute for Sjaak Polak.[3]
His parents are from Aruba
On 11 August 2012, Joshua John scored 4 goals in a 6-1 win against Silkeborg IF.[4]
He also scored a goal against Chelsea Football Club at Stamford Bridge, when FC Nordsjælland were beaten 6-1, on 5 December 2012.
On 2 September 2013, he signed a contract for 3 ½ years with the Danish Superliga club FC Nordsjælland.[5]
On 29 April 2014, the Aruban FA confirmed that John was "an Aruban Professional Footballer", suggesting that he would be available for the Aruban National team[6]
