Joshua Miller[2] (born April 17, 1954 in Providence, Rhode Island) is an American politician and a Democratic member of the Rhode Island Senate representing District 28 since January 2007.

Education

Miller graduated from Hope High School and attended the University of Rhode Island.

Rhode Island Senate Health and Human Services Committee Chairman Josh Miller and House Judiciary Committee Chairwoman Edith Ajello held a press conference to announce that they will introduce a bill to legalize, tax, and regulate marijuana similarly to alcohol. Controversy

On March 18th 2014 at the RI State House Gun Bills Hearing, Senator Miller told reporter Dan Bidondi to "Go f*** yourself". [11] Video of his comments can be seen at: http://dailysurge.com/2014/03/meet-sen-joshua-miller-a-real-jerk/

Senator Miller closed his FB page due to the overwhelming backlash regarding his "Go f**k yourself" comments made.
