The Journal of Cerebral Blood Flow & Metabolism is the official journal of the International Society for Cerebral Blood Flow & Metabolism and publishes peer-reviewed research and review papers. JCBFM stands at the interface between basic and clinical neurovascular research, and features research highlighting experimental, theoretical, and clinical aspects of brain circulation, metabolism and imaging. Since 2009, the editors-in-chief are Ulrich Dirnagl (Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin) and Martin Lauritzen (University of Copenhagen). According to the Journal Citation Reports, the journal has a 2014 impact factor of 5.407.[1]
