The Journal of Romance Studies is a peer-reviewed academic journal published by Berghahn Books on behalf of the Institute of Germanic and Romance Studies (London) covering studies on linguistics, literature, performing and visual arts, material culture, intellectual and cultural history, critical and cultural theory, psychoanalysis, gender studies, social sciences, and anthropology of those parts of the world that speak, or have spoken, Romance languages.[1] Its managing editor is Maria-José Blanco.
