Juan Alfonso Abril is a non-existent painter of the seventeenth century in Valladolid. Born of an error of Antonio Ponz, who mistakenly mentioned a sculpture of Head of San Pablo de Juan Alonso Villabrille as made by Juan Alfonso Abril.[1]
