Juan Centeno (/sɛnˈteɪnoʊ/ sen-TAY-noh;[1] born November 16, 1989) is a Puerto Rican professional baseball catcher who is currently in the Minnesota Twins organization. He has played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the New York Mets and Milwaukee Brewers.
Centeno was called up to the majors for the first time on September 9, 2013.[2] He made his major league debut on September 18, 2013 against the San Francisco Giants, going 2 for 4 with two singles, and his first career RBI. In 2015, after C Jonathan Lucroy was injured, Juan was called up to Milwaukee. He would be sent down to AAA Colorado Springs when Lucroy returned. On November 30th, Centeno signed a minor league deal with the Twins.
