Juan Manuel Fernández de Jaúregui
Juan Bautista Manuel José Mariano Joaquín Cruz Crescencio Guadalupe Rafael Pedro Regalado Agustín Pascual Ignacio Fernandez de Jauregui (September 14, 1814, Querétaro, Mexico – January 4, 1871, Mexico City, Mexico) was the acting Governor of Querétaro from December 1, 1849 to March 6, 1850.
Term as Governor
During his tenure he promulgated and published the controversial decree that returned to the Jesuits their property, after being abducted by the authorization of the Legislature prior to its gender mandate the resignation of Governor Francisco de Paula Mesa. By such acts, and having several previous charges, he was accused of having violated the general state of Querétaro Constitution and laws of Printing. Finally, on March 6, 1850, Juan Manuel Fernandez de Jauregui took the measure to resign from his post as governed Querétaro.
