Juan McKechnie was an Argentine amateur footballer, he served as goalkeeper in the Alumni Athletic Club.[1]
Career
McKechnie was born in Buenos Aires, member of a family of Scottish origin. He began his career in 1891 in Alumni. The next team in which he played was Lomas Academy, winning the first division championship of 1896.[2]
In 1897 McKechnie played in Lobos Athletic Club, team where he came runner-up in 1898 and 1899. The second final played against Belgrano Athletic Club.[3] In 1900 he played for one season in the Buenos Aires English High School, where won the championship this year.[4]
In 1901 McKechnie returned to the Alumni team, club where he won several titles.[5]
