Juan del Barrio ( n . Buenos Aires, Argentina, June 14, 1957) is an musician , pianist, keyboardist and composer Argentine specializes in incidental music. He joined prominent bands of Argentine rock music as cooperative Músicos Independientes Asociados (M.I.A.) , Mr. Zutano , Spinetta Jade, Los Abuelos de la Nada (the Grandparents of Nothingness) and Suéter (sweater).

Biography

Classically trained, Juan del Barrio began studying piano at age 12. While still a teenager he started playing in a group with Nono Belvis, Daniel Curto Ricardo La Civita and Ricardo Medina.

Since 1975 he is a founding member of M.i.a. (Associated Independent Musicians), a musical cooperative created at the behest of Lito Vitale even when he was 12 and his sister Liliana Vitale. As a member of M.i.a. He participated in the first two albums by hand by the cooperative and the concerts he organized.

In 1977 Mr. Zutano way, the first jazz rock band from Argentina, with Lito Epumer (guitar), Pomo Lorenzo (drums) and Francisco Ojstersek (low). This training is the basis taken by Luis Alberto Spinetta, Spinetta Jade to form.

In 1980, it calls for integrating Spinetta Spinetta Jade, one of the biggest bands in the history of Latin rock, jazz sound with rock, with his partner Mr. Zutano, Pomo Lorenzo in action, his former teammate at MIA, Lito Vitale on keyboards and Pedro Aznar low. In a second web formation, Vitale was replaced by Diego Rapoport and Aznar by Beto Satragni. In 1981 he retired from the band and was replaced by Leo Sujatovich.

In the same year he was summoned by Miguel Zavaleta to integrate the first formation of sweater, with Daniel Colombres (drums), Gustavo gifts (bass), Faithfull Marianne and Celsa Mel Gowland in (vocals). Record the first album the group and removed by 1983.

In 1985 Miguel Abuelo summons for integrating the Grandparents of Nothingness, historical Argentine national rock band, in which, the following year, he recorded the last album the group, my things, and died two years later Miguel Abuelo by complications arising AIDS in 1988.

From the 1990s, the neighborhood was dedicated to musical education and composing incidental music for plays, like cobwebs, directed by Ricardo Bartis and Nothing good Dorotea, the secret soul of things and Night, directed by Sergio D'Angelo.

In the mega concert Spinetta and the Eternal Bands organized by Luis Alberto Spinetta in 2009 to celebrate his 40 years in music, Del Barrio plays with two issues Spinetta, poplars and Shadows Diamond Soul.
