Judicial District of Junín

The Judicial District of Junín is one of the 28 Judicial Districts of the Judicial System of Peru.

The main seat is in the city of Huancayo and its jurisdiction extends over the entire Junín Region. Its jurisdiction also includes the Oxapampa Province of the Pasco Region and the Tayacaja Province of the Huancavelica Region.[1]

It was created by the Supreme Decree of May 4, 1920 and was established May 15, 1920 under the presidency of Augusto B. Leguía.
