Judy Hopps

Judy Hopps is a fictional character who appears in Walt Disney Animation Studios's 55th animated film and first animated comedy adventure film Zootopia.

Development

Voice

On May 6, 2015, Ginnifer Goodwin was cast in the role of Judy Hopps and has played the character in the film Zootopia and the video game Disney Infinity 3.0.[1][2]

Commenting on the casting of Goodwin, Zootopia director Rich Moore said that she brought "very centered sweetness, tremendous heart and a great sense of humor"; he described Judy as "a little Pollyanna mixed with Furiosa". Goodwin stated about her character: "People mistake kindness for naivete or stupidity, and she is a good girl through and through. But she's not a dumb bunny".[3]

In the film, Della Saba voices a younger Judy.

Appearances

In addition to appearing as the main character of Zootopia, Judy Hopps also appears in the 2015 video game Disney Infinity 3.0.[4]
