Julbestyr på en bondgård ("Christmas Preparations at a Farm") was the 1958 edition of Sveriges Radio's Christmas Calendar. Rolf Bergström got the idea in October the same year, seeing the Swedish Girl Scouts Union selling an advent calendar.

Plot

Rolf Bergström from Sveriges Radio's children's section goes to an Uppland farm in Sweden, participating in the Christmas preparations together with the three farmer's children Gunnel (14 years old), Magnus (12) and baby brother Gunnar (6). Event their mother Anna-Lisa and their father Erik sometimes participate in the programmes. In each episode, one of the children sung a Christmas song.[1]
