Julian Hodge Bank
Julian Hodge Bank is a small commercial bank in the United Kingdom. It is named after Sir Julian Hodge. The bank was formed in 1987, and is headquartered in Cardiff, Wales, the only independent bank headquartered in Wales. The total assets held by the bank at the year ending October 31, 2014 was £785 million.
Julian Hodge Bank offers a wide range of savings and loans products for both private individuals, and commercial clients. The bank incorporated various other finance companies controlled by Hodge.
The bank has one major subsidiary, Hodge Life Assurance Company, which operates in the mortgage market and celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2015. It sold its other subsidiary, Carlyle Finance, to WesBank (FirstRand) SA in 2007.
On 15 December 2015, the bank announced that it would be relocating from its office at 29 Windsor Place to a new head office located in the prestigious 1 Central Square development.
