Jupiter Artland

Cells of Life – a landform by Charles Jencks at Jupiter Artland

Jupiter Artland is a sculpture park and art gallery near Wilkieston, in West Lothian, Scotland.

Jupiter Artland sits in the grounds of Bonnington House, a 19th-century country house around 7 kilometres (4.3 mi) west of the city of Edinburgh.

The grounds of the house have been developed as a sculpture park and two new wings designed by Benjamin Tindall Architects and completed in 2015 provide indoor gallery space.[1]

The sculpture collection was established in 1999 by art collectors Robert and Nicky Wilson and "focuses on nurturing the work of contemporary artists and commissioning site-specific work for its 100-acres of woodland and meadow."[2] Jupiter Artland is a registered charity under Scottish law.[3]

In April 2016 Jupiter Artland was shortlisted for the 2016 Museum of the Year award.[4]
