Kåre Prytz
Kåre Prytz (1926 – 1994) was a Norwegian journalist and novelist.
He was born in Ålen,[1] belonging to the Prytz family from Røros.[2]
He wrote several novels, mainly revolving around the Norse travels to Vinland and East Greenland.[1] He received the prize Mads Wiel Nygaards Endowment in 1972.[3]
He is the author of the nonfiction book, Westward before Columbus.
